In exceptional
design ARTIC is released since 1993. In Volume 11 (2004) Stäbler
published a text, that refers to his vocal works. Especially for the issue
Stäbler composed AMTRACKS, an "audio-assemblage" for seven
vocalists. ARTIC 11 contains a CD with vocal works by Stäbler, e.g.
Winter.Blumen, Rachengold, Rosenkranz, drüber...
and the Belfast Breakfast Songs.

Kairos Quartett

The Berlin-based
Kairos-Quartet is formed by an up and coming string quartet that has mastered
a vast repertoire since its inception. Experimental concepts and the judicious
care of previously "established" works are the focal point of their work.
The quartet´s management (Claudius von Wrochem, Simone Heilgendorff)
can be contacted via their well-maintained web site, which provides information
regarding their repertoire and news about current performances. In May
2004 Kairos-Quartet performed the premiere of Stäbler?s work white
spaces for stringquartet and soprano (Ksenija Lukics) in a concert
organized by the MDR in Leipzig.

der Gegenwart" (composers of the present) is published by Hanns-Werner
Heister and Walter Wolfgang Sparrer. It represents the most comprehensive
collection of biographies of contemporary composers. Gerhard Stäbler´s
article with extensive analysis of several works was written by the
musicologists Björn Gottstein, Hanns-Werner Heister and Hella Melkert.

2003 David
Lefeber, the artistic director of Metier, released the piano-oeuvre
of Stäbler. The pianist Paulo Alvares from Cologne interpreted
the pieces Dalí, Total, Hart auf Hart,
Windows 1-5, Von Branntwein und Finsternissen. Apart
from Stäbler´s piano oeuvre Lefeber also releases classical
chamber-music.

world premiere of day by day - Gerhard Stäbler´s
composition (2003/04) for two percussionists, three female vocalists
and orchestra - was presented in the Munich concert series Musica Viva.
The series is directed by composer Josef Anton Riedl.

The "we are we" dance theater is directed by dancer
Eva Weissmann. In a previous collaboration
with her Gerhard Stäbler performed his piece elements (acute) together with a dance

dance choreography to this piece under the title von hier aus - Basel Raum Klang Tanz (from
